A.D. 295-297, fifth officina, laureate head of Maximianus right, MAXIMIANVS AVG, rev., the four tetrarchs sacrificing at altar before the gateway and walls of a camp or city, VICTORIA SARMAT, Є in the exergue, (RIC 37b), very fine with iridescent toning and a superb provenance, superior to the many 'brightly colored examples from recent hoards that are around on the market today. $695 SALE $595 FURTHER REDUCED $495 SOLD
