H3205  - Cnut (1016-1035), Silver Penny, 0.81g., Quatrefoil type (c.1017 - c.1023), Malmesbury - Beorhtstan, crowned bust left within quatrefoil, [+CNV]T REX ANGLO, rev., voided long cross with cusp terminals over quatrefoil, +BRIHSTA[N ON] MEAL, (N.781; S.1157; obverse die not in SCBI/EMC), chipped and with a few hairline cracks around 3 o'clock, but otherwise of sound metal and fabric, very fine, extremely rare. $995 SOLD
