RM27 - Aquitaine, Edward the Black Prince (Prince of Wales and Aquitaine 1362-1376), Silver Demi-Gros, 2.04g., 24mm, 2nd issue, La Rochelle mint, half-length figure of the Prince to right, sword in right hand, left hand raised, within tressure of arches, ED PO GNS REGIS R, graffiti: J.F.R. •1783•, rev., long cross, three pellets in each angle, PRN CPS AQI TAN / GLIA IN CXELCIS DEO ET IN TRA PAX, pellet stops,  (Elias 182), interesting eighteenth century graffiti adding a historical perspective to the coin, almost very fine, toned. $295
