The type was not known to Elias and his predecessors. It is the prototype for the Bergerac type WF306 E130.

SF13 - Aquitaine, Edward III (As Duke and King of England 1327-1377), Billon Double, 1.14g., 23mm, AGLE FRAE across field, legend around, rev., cross calvary, (WF.109 1/a; E.124.; Boud.-; Laf. 291; S.8087), very rare (R2), weak in parts otherwise good fine for issue. $1250

Type not represented in the Elias Collection.

Although Elias listed this type as of uncertain origin, he noted that it was imitated in Bergerac and therefore likely struck in Aquitaine. Withers & Ford have definitively attributed it to Aquitaine.
